I’m Shannon, the founder and sole practitioner at Shannon Michael Massage. My goal is to provide the Glasgow community with a space where clinical expertise and a personal touch come together to help you move, perform, and rest better.

My journey into massage therapy began with a commitment to the highest standards of care. I was trained by the prestigious Western School of Massage in Glasgow, where I developed a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the mechanics of soft tissue.

This rigorous, Glasgow-based training provided me with a foundation in both the art of relaxation and the science of remedial therapy. It means that whether I am working with a client for stress relief or complex injury rehabilitation, my approach is always evidence-based and anatomically focused.

I don't just treat athletes; I am one. As a regular at Three Peaks Gym and a member of the Glasgow Front Runners, I understand the grit it takes to train and the frustration that comes when your body doesn’t feel its best.

I know the feeling of the "long run" legs and the tightness that comes from a heavy lifting session. This first-hand experience allows me to connect with my clients’ goals—whether you are aiming for a marathon PB or simply want to pick up your kids without back pain. I speak the language of the local Glasgow fitness community because I am a part of it.

At Shannon Michael Massage, I don't believe in "routine" treatments. Every person who enters my Cambuslang studio receives a bespoke experience.

To ensure my care fits into your lifestyle, I offer flexible session lengths of 30, 60, and 90 minutes, allowing us the time needed to either focus on a specific problem area or provide a comprehensive full-body treatment.

I chose to base my studio in Cambuslang to offer my clients a quiet, professional alternative to the busy Glasgow city centre. Here, you don't have to worry about the stress of central traffic or the search for parking. Instead, you can arrive at a calm, clinical environment dedicated entirely to your recovery.
